In regards to her creative writing and dedication to all that is metal, Kenia has never failed to inform the local metal masses on what badassery has happened or is going to happen. It’s really an honor for me to be taking on the “dark” side of Cider. I will do my damdest to perform at her level. And Kenia, on behalf of all the black wearing, evil screamers, double bass kickers, and tattoo rockers, you will be dearly missed. See you on the other side babe! Q and A with Barishi What is your overall opinion of the metal scene in New England and this area (Keene NH, Brattleboro VT) ? Graham: I think there is some pretty good metal coming out of Vermont, which I’m pretty proud of, especially In the Burlington area. Bands like Vaporizer, Boatmans Lament, Kiros, all of those guys are really killin it. There is oviously a lot of stuff in western Mass but I think metal in Vermont is going to be something pretty special and its going to have its own unique sound but, I think its good. I think its on the rise. Cole: cool, I totally agree. Of any venue in the US where would you guys like to play? What is your dream venue? Graham: I think in the US I would like to play at the Rock Agogo where cheech and chong did earache my eye, and the Palladium on the main stage. So can you tall me about the album you are working on now? Where is it, whats going on? Dylan: Its almost out, we’re finishing mastering really soon and then we’re gonna be moving on to the printing process so hopefully it will be out sooner rather than later. Do you have a time frame? Graham: we’re hoping like a month tops, uhm..but yeah I think its pretty good, we’ve kind of changed over the course of the album and I think we have found our place, where we want to be and I think the album really captures that. It was a lot of fun to make. Brian from PDP recording really killed it, also from Lich King. so are you going to be touring soon? Graham: yup, yeah I think there are a few different tours possibly with the Quantum Mechanic, friends from Masachusetts and possibly Vaporizer from Burlington. oh cool! So uhm.. silly questions. If there was any band in history you could cause to have never existed what band would that be and why? Sascha: I would say U2 Graham: I like U2 Sascha: part of the reason why haha just kidding. I think “the edge” is an aweful guitarist and I just hate Bonos voice. Dylan: I would say maybe Jack Johnson. group laugh* so your vocalist Sascha here is pretty ridiculous on stage how do the rest of you guys feel about that? Dylan: I like it, I feed off a lot of energy when I play so when Sascha is freaking out it kinda helps me freak out a little more so its definatly good in that respect and fans seem to think its pretty dope too. continued on next page
