If you could put The Youngest Sun on any bill
in the world with any band, where you playin
and with who?
I would love to play in New Orleans, and as far
as sharing a bill, I would love to meet and jam
with Steve Kimock or Victor Wooten.
What is the best live show you have ever
seen? What is the worst?
Best live show I've seen in a really long time
was Steve Kimock in Londonderry, NH. The
worst show was this crazy weird electronica dj
band in Burlington at UVM's springfest. Good
god, I heard nothing but bass and build ups.
Who are your idols? The greatest drummers of
all time or some obscure teacher?
Again, I have to go Fishman on technicality. He
has some of the coolest drum parts in my opinion for songs. I love Zigaboo Modeliste from
The Meters for his laid back feel. and Jojo
mayer. I can't answer this question really. haha.
What is your take on the local music scene and
what is needed to make it better?
I think the music scene just needs more people
that are interested in live local music of any
genre. The variety of music in this area is
amazing and I really wish there was more
support.
