Kang says he hopes the awareness and interest toward supporting local continues . He envisions a future where visitors to Winnipeg seek out local distilleries much the way they have embraced craft breweries as local culture destinations .

And along with samples for sipping , Capital K has begun offering cocktail classes , teaching wouldbe mixologists what goes into the perfectly balanced drink , and how to layer sweet , spicy , bitter and salty flavours .
