flaunt contemporary style and innovative design.
Herb pots, butterfly tile, glass bowl, copper planter and coffee/tea tins provided by
St. Mary’s Nursery. Flowers provided by Beyond Flowers. Herbs provided by Sage Garden.
appliances and fixtures add a modern edge, while lengths of subway tile add an interesting
visual element. Eliminating upper cabinets from one wall opens and brightens the space without
having to increase the room’s overall footprint. Custom shaker-style cabinetry, with a slight
distressed finish, lines the other two walls, giving a charactered antique look. Dark hardwood
floors run seamlessly throughout and into adjoining living and dining rooms, adding a sense of
flow and continuity to the main floor.
