Food, fashion and home are topics we love, and this issue features all three! In fact, because it also marks our 100th issue, we have reprised thingswelove with 100 things we love best about Winnipeg today! Look to ciao! home for our annual Ciao! Kitchen Design Competition presented by Steinbach Credit Union in a feature revealing creativity in homes all over the city. Styles and square footage vary, but all the winners have created beautiful spaces that mix modern materials and new technology. The grand prize winner will enjoy a gourmet meal prepared in the new kitchen by Chef Mike Robins of Sous Sol.
Speaking of style and square footage, a visit inthekitchen with Executive Chef Quentin Harty of the RBC Convention Centre gives us a glimpse at a recent kitchen build of enormous proportions, and offers a sneak preview of one of the most anticipated meals of our year. ciao! fashion, on the other hand, shows that cutting edge has its place in our daily lives too.
