last bite Was there a moment you decided you wanted to be a professional comedian? It was a bit of a natural progression. I began doing some open mics the summer before my final year of university. It led to more…eventually you realize you are paying your bills doing it. Who is the funniest person you know? My kids are the funniest people I know. Of course I know so many funny comics. I have 30 favourites! Who are you most excited to meet during this year’s Comedy Fest? Andrew Phung, one of the stars on Kim’s Convenience will be here– he seems like a terrific guy and thrilled to be a part of it. What is the funniest city in Canada. Why? Winnipeg is a pretty reliable punch line… for our weather and isolation. How does food fit into a day you have a show? I used to forget to eat because of nerves. Now I suck it up and enjoy the full course meal offered at events. What’s your definition of an all- time perfect snack? A bowl of bananas, strawberries, crushed almonds on top and milk.
