When dealing with gloomy days, a cool spring breeze, or maybe even six inches of snow, it is important to be on the up and up about fashion and not let anything keep us guys from looking like men. Seeing the current trend of bright colors in men’s wear this season not only excites me but also has me broke. So let’s see what is going to be in for spring that won’t dent your wallet.

Right now vibrant orange and lemon are very in, but you might not think you’re tan enough for those bright colors. While you shouldn’t let that stop you, alloy gray or Monaco blue are good choices before and after you hit the beach. Small things like a tan belt that is spiced up with some color on the end loops can go a long way. Fellas, colored accents are so subtle they are not just for girls. Fun socks are also an easy step into the metro scene. Bright teals, sea foam greens, and baby blues look good as button ups. Simple cardigans do a great job of showing everyone that you are ready for spring but also keep you warm in the chilly air.

On the cloudy overcast days, as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers…” for your lady that is. For men, a nice bright tie is perfect. It is simple and you can dress a tie up or dress it down depending on the shirt and pant.

Shirts are not the only colorful clothing men can wear this spring.

It is easy to make fashion all about being dressed up, but not every day is a date with your girl or a fancy family dinner.

COLORED MEN

We have a purple checked shirt paired with a gray alloy tie. This tie matches the darker side of spring but is paired with something brighter to balance everything out. Ties and socks are great ways to add a color but not be extreme. This is a good trade off if you are not sure what to do or how to match.

Colorful, affordable ties can be found anywhere, Wal-Mart, Target, and even Goodwill.
