Summer Family Ministries Events

Sunday, August 19, 3–5 pm (or longer?)

Lemonade Stand

Family Ministries will be the hosts of a Lemonade Stand in July and August. We will have a table by the sidewalk during outdoor Coffee (or Lemonade) Hour. We will offer lemonade, water, and cookies to passersby and also have dog biscuits and water for people's dogs. Each week a different family will staff the table and welcome our neighbors. (If your family is interested in being hosts for a Sunday, please contact Marilyn at [email protected]).

CROP Walk

Save the Date: Sunday, October 14

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world. First Church has been a longtime participant, sending groups of members and friends to walk each year. Watch for more details as the date grows closer.
