For individuals who may critic your style of music, What makes your music different from the others, apart from the anointing?
Everybody wants to make the crowd jump and stuff like that.
My aim, my goal, my desire, my purpose is that when you hear me sing, when you hear me minister, when you hear me open my mouth. It's not you hearing a regular person, it's spirit in me.
When I am finished ministering you should have been touched. If you're in a backsliden state you have that urge, that desire to say God I am rededicating my life to you. If you're feeling unwell, you say I am strong even though my body is not feeling well. My prayer for every song on my album is that it reaches somebody.
There is a song for everyone at the point of their need.
For those persons who are unsaved and have not known Jesus as yet, What advice would you give to them?
There's a song by Martha Munizzi, Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. Had I not known God and have a relationship, I would be out of my mind.
Christianity prevents you from doing a lot of things, alot of dumb things. When you have that relationship with Christ, when you have salvation it changes who you are. For those who donot know God, its the best relationship you could have.
You think you have a relationship with your husband, your wife, your children but they fail. God never never never fail. It may seem like he's not there, it may look like he's not there because when the test is happening the teacher is quite.
The teacher cannot give you the answer, that's why when the enermy surronds you, you've been taought to withstand. He takes care of His own. He said, he'll never leave you nor forsake you.
Christianity is the best choice that a person who don't know God can make for them self. It changes you, it strengthens you. It's a wonderful life.
It has been very wonderful speaking with you and from speaking to you, I think that there is more than singing, in your ministry, So keep in tune with what God has planned for you and as we avail ourselves to God, God will do far more abundantly above all that we can think or ask. He has greater plans for us, even more than what we have for ourselves.
Keep on doing your ministry and keep the flag of St. Vincent & the Grenadines flying high in the world.
Do you have a favourite verse or scripture that ministers to you on a daily basis?
I have two actually.
The first one Jeremiah 29:11 and that is what has been my everlasting portion and this was on the album when I was giving credit to certain people. Then there's 2 Corinthians 4:7 That says, But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
What are your final words?
To who ever may read this, salvation is a great thing. We have a beautiful oppertunity in this life time that we are given to know the President and CEO of the universe, to get that oppertunity to converse with him, to be an heir of the Kingdom, to work on top of the Holy Spirit.
It's such an awesome prevailage. So I would encourage those who feel let down or feel like God has forgotten, he hasn't. You just have to go through your test. It's only a test. You have to keep going, you can't let go. He will never let you go but He will allow you to let God of Him if that's your choice.
Stand strong and be not entangled with the yoke of bondage. His strenghten is made perfect in your weakness.That's basically what I have to say.
