Trust between them was of vital importance, trust in God was even more important. The study of God’s word and constant prayer was central in their lives as they strove to attain the will of God. Delano was faced with a difficult direction from the Lord.
God wanted him to give up his job for over six years, give up the island he had grown to love; his network of friends and colleagues. He had to change the church where he served. He did this because God confirmed to him that He wanted him to go back to his homeland where God will show his awesome power, glory and love for his own.
Upon this move of faith and obedience, Delano and Vennola believed God for a job for him to come through one month before they got married. Time went very swiftly leading up to the date set for marriage; resources were running low; time was swiftly passing; both had moments of frustration and prayer became their next move.
God took care of all lacks. God comforted their hearts. He blessed Delano with a job, one month before the wedding, where he is now a permanent employee. God blessed them with a Holy Spirit filled wedding ceremony and reception like no other.
Since then, these two strengthened their purpose to cooperate with each other, support each other, stay glued to each other through all seasons. They blend their personality differences for the greater good of the kingdom of God and have published the second issue of Chronicles Christian Magazine. Simultaneously they manage Chronicles Christian Radio, serve at their local church, manage a home and support each other as they work their daily secular jobs.
Their encouragement to readers of Chronicles101 is “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
May God’s blessings continue to rain on this young couple.
