1) What is your greatest achievement? Why?

My greatest achievement would be moving to New York City, getting my master's degree, becoming a teacher and being able to afford to live in this very expensive city.

2) What would we find if we opened your fridge?

You would find very unhealthy vegan junk food. You would find very weird vegan mayonnaise cheese. And probably moldy leftovers where I got really ambitious and cooked something and forgot about it and never ate it.

3) Have you ever had any awkward moments teaching?

I guess anytime you have a great discussion planned out and it kind of falls flat and the kids aren't really that into it.

4) If you could give your younger self advice what would it be?

It would be build study skills, don't wait until grad school to learn and actually study and review your notes get good grades.

5) If you could be another teacher for a day, who would you want to be?

It would be Ms. Ortiz because the Middle School ESL students are so much fun.

6) What do you dislike and like about our generation?

I dislike that you are sometimes very caught up in your phones and I worry that you won't know what it's like to grow up enjoying the real world not through Instagram. I love how your generation is grown up around so many ideas of social justice that you are so accepting so quickly, and that your generation especially growing up in New York City turning out to be tolerant, progressive and open-minded. And basically kind people and that wouldn't even be imaginable in my childhood.
