Mr. Stapleton
1) What is your greatest achievement? Why?
I would say becoming a teacher is one of my greatest achievements so far because before this I had another career and I could have easily stayed there and then been completely miserable with my life. But I decided to switch to teaching, and so far it's been absolutely an accomplishment
2) What would we find if we opened your fridge?
Lots of chicken, lots of veggies, soy milk. Lots of condiments. For some reason I always have a lot of condiments
.
3) Have you ever had any awkward moments teaching?
It's hard to nail it down to just one since last year was my first year teaching and I felt like it was just a series of awkward moments. Trying to get to know each one of my students and understand everything I had to do. I would probably say at the beginning of the year when you are trying to learn everybody's name and you call students the wrong name.
4) If you could give your younger self advice what would it be?
It would be to absolutely follow what you want to do in your life and not what others want you to do. Let's say you're really into say theater- follow your dreams go with theatre. Or writing, anything just follow your passion. You'll figure out a way how to make a living off of it.
5) If you could be another teacher for a day, who would you want to be?
I would want to be Mrs. Cardarelli just because she demands from the student body and just the presence of her.
6) What do you dislike and like about our generation?
I really like that most of your generation because of the recent election seems to be really into politics and they know what's going on in the world, especially with so many media outlets and social media. Also, something I dislike about your generation is the overuse of social media and not having actual conversations with people and just hiding behind screens to voice an opinion which can be a good way to voice your opinion but I see a lot of anger on social media.
