The other type of peer pressure which students may face are based on drugs. It was said by a student attending this school, that she would like to do drugs. The reason being is because everyone around her is doing it. It becomes a natural instinct for a person to do it as well because of their desires which have been placed because of their surroundings.

Nowadays in schools, we are more worried about who has the iPhone 7 and who doesn’t? Who has that Kylie Jenner lip kit and who doesn’t? Why can’t a girl who bought Jordana lipstick sit with the girl who bought the Kylie Jenner lipstick? We have allowed society to create a thin line between what is important and what is desired. I blame society for creating this illusion of valuing materialistic items to fit in. How will a community be built where judgments are everlasting. Yes, it is true we can't change minds of people, but then again, that's just an excuse. We can always change mindsets as to how we perceive others and change ourselves.

All these feelings have been taunting us. wanting to take deviant actions was placed by the lack of community present in our school. Community within a school is crucial. It helps a school come together and open eyes of students and also accepting of others. This precisely pinpoints the idea that girls are insecure and are being peer pressured into wrongful actions within UASCJ. We need to begin changing ourselves. We can do this here. We can begin creating a community within this school to prevent insecurities and wrongful actions. We can start by becoming friends who are not like us. Creating friends with someone different may become something that is common.
