Welcome, readers for the first ever issue of Chronicle Magazine.
In literature there is something called fear of the blank page- that fear
of not knowing how to begin a story. I felt that before I arrived Wales.
Chronicle: Asian Girl Conquers Wales grew from one simple notion- introducing
Carmarthen. I’m sure you have heard of life changing trips. Well, living abroad is
a trip that will profoundly change your life and who you are. It will shake up your
roots, your certainties and your fears. Then at the end of the day you will be thank-
ful for those experiences. Maybe you wont realise it or believe it, until you do it.
Between these pages you will find my autobiographical tales of studying and living
abroad, stories of my adventure and falling in love with places in Wales and Britain.
These stories are being told alongside visuals and videos that will let you have a
glimpse of the journey that I took, memories I made and friends that I‘ve met.
I have collected my own bittersweet memories here, the next time could be yours.
