IN TIME AT lansteffan L lansteffan castle was a castle that established in the earlier 12th century within the site of an Iron Age promotory fort. It’s about 30 minutes away from Carmarthen by bus. I enjoyed the remote- ness of this castle. Just being here brings the soul into sweet surrender, at one with nature, vibrant yet re- laxed. There aren’t any castles back in Malaysia. To see castles in real life gives some perspective to the vast amounts of time that have passed since their creation. To reach the castle we all had to climb up a gentle incline for about half a mile. From its position at the top of the hill, this castle dominates the landscape. You will surely see it from the path when you are walking towards up. In this hallowed and ancient site, the trees surrounded the path to the castle like great armies defending their citadel. It is actually very eerie going through the path but once you are up there, you will be rewarded with amazing view.
