Small amount of students in the campus make me know almost everyone
around here. While making friends with the Film and Digital Media students,
I’ve also mingled around with students from the Theatre School. This put me
in contact with two very different groups of people on campus. The Student
Union always have lots of fun events and campaigns to get involved with and
there are lots of opportunities to get involved. They hold various activities like
Fresher’s week, Sports Day and hold dinners for celebration like St. David’s Day.
They even organised ‘Spring Sell-Out’ - a day where students can go shop around
town provided with student discounts in selected shops and restaurants. It’s a
really small campus but community spirit and unity is high. Overall, being
here really develop my interest in academic and practical skills in a way that
I wouldn’t have been able living at home. I took a lot of courage coming here
and it wasn’t easy but University of Wales Trinity Saint David made it easy..
