New Club for Grill Lovers

Even with all the clubs available , Holden Bryce , senior , created a club that would be unique from all the others - the Grill Club . With the help of Mr . Naumann the idea became a popular club among seniors .
“ We were just sitting in class and talking about how much we like to grill , so we came up with the idea together ,” said Holden .
They had their first event of the school year on September 22nd , which conincided with Brother Rice ’ s Field Day .
“ As odd as it was , there was much thought and effort that had to go into that ,” says Mr . Naumann .
“ I think it ’ s a unique club at Brother Rice , a lot of the other clubs are sport or academics-driven , and

here this is more of a creative , culinary club that ’ s drawn much of interest .”
The Grill Club is gaining popularity among the students as shown by their increasing their member count at various events like Open House on November 2nd .
