Know your WHY
Apostle Paul was a tentmaker on purpose because he knew his WHY. He was serving in unchartered territory where he would not get support from those he served. While he was fully entitled to a living wage, he used tentmaking to finance him during his ministry so that he could continue.
1 Corinthians 4:11-12 "Even now we go hungry and thirsty, and we don’t have enough clothes to keep warm. We are often beaten and have no home. We work wearily with our own hands to earn our living."
