our sins, and resurrected back to life only 3 days later.” (The Resurrection of Christianity, p. 7) Not only does journalist Juan Belloso describe the scene in The Resurrection of Christianity, he also describes how it fueled the fire for Christianity and many other perspectives that none would ever think about. It may be a story you’ve heard around every Easter-time and from people who are telling the story to spread the religion, but it just gets better the more you learn about it. It insinuated and continues to insinuate hope within a community who had none before Jesus rose again to return it to us. .
While on the subject of new perspective, I want to talk about a subject that gives new perspective, while at the same time giving others what they need. “The reason why they (churches) have missionaries is to help their religion grow and to help others while doing it.” (Missionaries) Tyler Eaton gives us an insight on why and how people are helping others while at the same time teaching others about the wonders of God. Now, this article also has words from Southside Church of Christ youth pastor Andy Brazle, who takes a group down to Honduras on a medical missionary trip every summer. Most Christians are in this religion because it helped them get through tough times and brings people together despite differences in background and culture. That should give us something to think about before going on to our daily lives!
“We should all know the beginning before we know the end.” (Sweet Baby Jesus) Wise words from Andy Serrano, the person who wrote an enlightening article about the birth of Jesus. Not only does this article state the reasons why this is such a big thing, both then and now, it also connects a story all the way from Genesis to a story beginning in the New Testament, emphasizing how Jesus was essentially the world’s final sacrifice before anybody even knew of his existence. Everything about what was written here is one surprise after another, from Abraham to the Virgin Mary.
The world is a great place for inspiration. Everywhere you look, there are new life lessons and beautiful creations in every seemingly small detail of our world; all that matters is whether one is willing to look at the world with open eyes and see it for what it could be. So, there were two verses that I found while on Pinterest, Matthew 6: 34 (So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring it’s own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today). and Proverbs 11:27 (Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one that finds the gold.), and I can’t figure out which one I like more. So I decided that both of them are my favorites. These are my verses, the ones that describe what I want to be in life and what I want to see myself radiate for others. Do me a favor of a lifetime, alright? Find the verses that make you want to be better, and do that. Create happiness and light within a dark and cruel world.
Forever Looking,
