As a Christian, pastor, reviewer and avid reader, I have
read more than my fair share of devotionals over the
years, some of them presenting valuable deep theologies
and teachings that went right over my head, while others
barely scratch the surface of Scripture to try and make
God and His Word softer more palatable.
Using the writings of the Apostle Paul as her source Philippians and Colossians - Christine Digiacomo offers
daily teachings in this new devotional. Pulling from life in
the corporate world, family life, and teaching, she
presents daily readings / teachings that are sure to
inspire and encourage the reader to deepen their
relationship with God and His Word.
Morning Briefings is theologically sound book that offers a
lot of life application. It is challenging and yet highly
inspiring. And the devotions that this book tended to
stay with me, and I would quite often find myself mulling
them over throughout the day.
Judah Smith is a pastor, and the author of New York

book, Life Is _____.: God’s Illogical Love Will Change Your
Existance, Smith presents readers with the philosophy
that Jesus is the greatest example of how we should live

This book is divided into four sections, with four chapters
in each. These sections are titled; “Life Is To Be Loved and
to Love”, “Life Is To Trust God In Every Moment”, “Life Is
To Be At Peace With God And Yourself”, “Life Is To Enjoy
God”.
Life Is _____. is an excellent read! Having not read Jesus Is
_____., I am new to Smith’s work. I really like his relevant
and down-to-earth writing style, and that he uses often
humorous personal experiences, and a friendly easy-tounderstand conversational style in his writings.
A thoughtfully written book, Smith has a lot of good
points to make, and every time I put it down I was left
with something to think about. Life Is _____. is a thoughtprovoking read, and ultimately, the book points toward
the true source of life, love, peace, and
