MOVIE REVIEW Believe In Easter is a documentary from Gary Wilkinson (I Believe In Christmas) that takes an in-depth look at the origins, influences, traditions, and history of the celebration we have come to know as Easter. I Title: I BELIEVE IN EASTER Rating: Directed by: Gary Wilkinson Easter is the most important celebration in the Christian faith, as it is a remembrance of when Christ died for the sins of the world, and rose again to claim victory over death. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the basis of the Christian faith, and as such, it is always good to be willing to grasp the opportunity to learn and gain further insight into the Easter celebration. A lot of good information is included in I Believe In Easter, and I am certain that most viewers will have learnt something new by the end of the film. In addition to being informative and thought provoking, I Believe In Easter is a well made documentary. It features dramatized scenes of the the crucifixion and some of the events which lead up to it, as well as some of the teachings of Jesus. These dramatized scenes are incorporated with the knowledge and insight offered by several different church scholars and historians, and some scenes which were filmed in the Holy Land and at the Vatican.
