FEATURED FILMMAKERS
FRED AND SHARON WILHARM
On December 8, 1990 a communications major with a
desire to make movies married a schoolteacher with a
passion for writing and directing drama. In 2009 God
opened the door for them to combine their abilities and
desires and create a faith-based feature film. It was to be
the first of many. Since then Fred and Sharon Wilharm
have produced five faith-based films and are currently at
work on their sixth.
The Wilharms have come a long way from their earliest
filmmaking efforts. Their first film dragged with slow
moving, on the nose dialogue. They eliminated that
problem when they found their film niche – dialogue free

Inspirational Film” at Holywood Christian Film Festival,
“Best Feature” and “Best Female Director” at GloryReelz
Christian Film Festival and was nominated for the
prestigious “Best Mission” Stellae Award at Pan Pacific Film
Festival in Los Angeles. It's also received favorable reviews
including a 5 Dove review from Dove Foundation and a high
review from Movieguide. It aired on Parables TV, Net TV,
and International Christian Family Network and has been
used as an evangelism tool by international missionaries and
missions groups around the world. The Good Book is being
released to stores nationwide on February 2, 2015.
Now the Wilharms are hard at work on Providence, their
latest redemptive movie. It's the story of a couple who grow
up together and whose lives keep intersecting, but they
