rapper from Tennessee. His debut album
ROAD TO REDEMPTION is a hard hitting
collection of songs that tackles issues such as
addiction, divorce, church, money, spiritual
warfare, and worship.
We caught up with him to ask a few questions…
Christian Review (CR) - How did you
get involved in the Christian music
scene?
Jericho - I was doing secular music
for years. I made it pretty far. I was
even was in a video at Cee-Lo
Green's house with some peers. But
at the end of the day, I was still
empty, broken and knew I needed
something else. I was living in an
apartment in Nashville and realized
I needed to get away from
everything. So I moved into my van
in a Wal-mart parking lot for 3-1/2
months. During that time i knew
God had a calling on my life so I
started writing songs that were real
and honest.
CR - Is there meaning behind the
name Jericho?
