WHEN THE GAME STANDS
TALL - Based on a true story,
When The Game Stands Tall is
a sport drama that revolves
around the journey of football
coach Bob Ladouceur and the
De La Salle High School
Spartans. All of the actors
(which include Jim Caviezel, Michael Chiklis, Laura
Dern, and Alexander Ludwig) bring their A-game,
and the production is fantastic. This is a brilliantly
made inspirational movie about how the strong
faith of one man inspired many. (Read review)
BELIEVE ME - This movie
focuses on a group of four
college buddies who start a
fake charity in order to pay off
outstanding debts and earn
some extra cash as
graduation nears. While it is
highly entertaining, brilliantly
acted, and extremely well made, there is a lot that
one can learn from watching Believe Me. The
movie is very thought provoking, passionately
produced, and it not-so-subtly demonstrates that
mere words can have a huge impact on someone's
faith. (Read review)

LIVING HOPE - A fantastic
documentary about the nonprofit organization, Living
Hope, and it’s lifesaving work
in South Africa. It showcases
the story of Pastor John
Thomas, and those who
came alongside him to fight
poverty and disease in South Africa. Living Hope is
an excellent piece of film, as it is both captivating
and inspirational - it certainly tugs at the
heartstrings. It is a testament to the fact that
many lives can be changed, saved even, through
the faith of a few. (Read review)
THE SONG - Inspired by the
Biblical book The Song of
Solomon, The Song is about
one man’s search for
meaning and purpose in a life
he deems as meaningless.
While it is an excellent movie
on all fronts, don’t expect a
romantic comedy from The Song. It is a deep
drama, that deals with topics including faith, love,
marriage, temptation, adultery, and the search for
true meaning and hope in life. (Read review)
