he victim of a vicious cyberbullying
plot that is putting her life in
danger, quiet, yet opinionated
teenager, Ashley (Danielle Chuchran), and
her mother, Julie Johnson (Natasha Henstridge), try to make a life for themselves in a
new town. Soon after starting school, Ashley
finds a friend, as well as a romantic interest.
Her eccentric history teacher Kevin Carlisle
(Jamie Kennedy) teaches her some
meaningful life lessons, and he also takes an
interest in Julie, who is the new drama
teacher at Ashley’s new school. But just as
Ashley begins to open up, her past catches
up to her and she must choose to face it, or
keep on running.

Nowhere Safe serves as encouragement for
those being bullied to have courage to stand
up for themselves and know that they are
not alone in their struggles. It will hopefully
open eyes to impact of bullying, whether it
be physical, mental, or online.
This movie also conveys that we can choose
to let our struggles, challenges, anger and
pain dominate our lives, or we can move
forward and make the conscious decision to
not let our past or current struggles define
who we are.
