Most of you know that I ’ ve been teaching and playing guitar as a profession for 50 years . I can share little bits and pieces of my experience , knowledge , and skills with you through the every other month magazine columns , of course . But ... it isn ’ t nearly as rewarding as being able to take live one-on-one lessons with me where we can dig into a much deeper level of understanding - and build a custom course just for you , selecting the songs you ’ d specifically like to work on , etc . My main thing these days is teaching Skype lessons to folks all over the world . It is so invigorating for me to develop arrangements of songs to exactly fit the needs and level of each individual . Just for fun , I thought I ’ d give you an abbreviated sample of a recent Skype arrangement I came up with for an intermediate level student who wanted to do a little richer harmonization of the Doxology .
