Christian Action Team
Mission and Identity
In our pursuit to live the Works of Mercy, we pledge that our Christian Service
initiatives will be person-centered and, as such, will be:

“P”, prayerful. The Works of Mercy flow from the work of prayer.
“E”, eucharistic. Our service finds its source of life in the Eucharist.
“R”, relational. The more relational our service, the more formational.
“S”, sacramental. We seek God in all things.
“O”, open to all. We strive to be invitational and inclusive.
“N”, neighborly. We stand in solidarity with others as brothers and sisters.

If our service programs have these characteristics, they will bring us into a
relationship with the person of Jesus and, at the same time, they will also bring
us into a personal relationship with a brother or sister in need.
