Christian Action Team Report 59 - As Eddy, Cameron, and I have sat at our table throughout the last two and a half years, I've come to realize that the more I can be there for them and listen to whatever they have to say, the stronger relationship we can build. Dan Ertle ’15 (2 year Cat Pack Coach) - First the mass is one of my favorite masses all year because current students and a lot of alumni all come down and celebrate the Eucharist together; it is the real St. Ignatius HS homecoming. Jeff Foerg ’14 (Christmas Food Drive leader) - Sometimes being a leader can feel like a bit of a struggle when we try to find students to serve funerals, but once we do find all of the students, I think we are more able to appreciate the meaning of guys giving up their time to serve. When I am serving funerals, I often think about how important the ministry is to the people who we have helped through it. Ryan Hargis ’14 (Arimathea Pallbearer leader) - Sharing our stories and lots of laughs helped me to realize that we are all connected to each other through our faith in Jesus Christ regardless of our differences, and when we can be our authentic selves (as the core members of L'Arche) is when we are closest to God. Mrs. Diana Pavlik (Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students/Friends with L’arche moderator) C.A.T Tweets 2013-2014 – Written by students and inspired by the Prayer for Generosity with service experiences. • C.A.T. has helped me to become more open to others. I’m now able to see others through the eyes of God. Thank you C.A.T. for giving me this gift. • Lord, teach me to be accepting of others; to get to know an individual first and not to judge people by their appearance. • I have learned how to become a good role model for younger kids.
