> 6. CCG: Your song "The Other Side" is amazing! Whats the story behind it?
Christi: It is a revised version of "Amazing Grace" and is about my testimony of coming from the darkness of Hollywood into the light of Christ's true purpose for me and calling as a messenger to share the Gospel through writing, speaking, TV/Radio/ Film and music. In my official music video, you see that I am wearing black and then through the video you see that I wear white... the footage goes from black and white into color as well. > 5. When did you discover that God wanted you to be a light in the entertainment world?
I realized this when I experienced His presence through worship and the Word and when I saw friends and role models almost die and be destroyed by the darkness of Hollywood. I wanted to be a light and an example like a Christian Taylor Swift to bring forth truth in a loving and culturally relevant way through my music. This all happened around 2008-2009...I released my first Christian EP "Let Us Worship" in 2011 on iTunes and then after that God kept opening doors and my ministry started. He has done beyond what I could ever imagine. (Ephesians 3:20)
