Supa IGA Tully might be located in a
small rural town, but there is nothing
small about this store, except perhaps
some of the fabulous prices! Their
extensive range of fresh foods draws
in locals and tourists alike. What I
most remember after my visit to Supa
IGA Tully are the big smiles I was
greeted with from the friendly team
who work there.

Who are your main types of
customers?
We have a whole mix of people
as we are a rural town with farms
consisting of sugar cane bananas
and beef.
What is it about your store that
is distinctly different from other
supermarkets?
We are locals that own and
operate our independent store and
listen to our customers needs.
What are the changes in peoples
buying habits you have noticed
over the past couple of years?
Way more interested in organics

and a much healthier mind set.
What are the fastest moving
categories within your store?
Fresh fruit and vegetables along
with Meat Chicken and deli. We
have a large range of organics and
health products, which are not
carried by the majors.
What trends do you predict over
the next twelve months?
A lot more people will shop fresh
and more frequently.
What made you decide to
introduce the natural health foods
and wellness products into your
business?
Demand for natural health
products to value add to our
outstanding fresh.
Where do you see the natural
health sector heading in the next
couple of years?
Only growing as people are more
educated in what they put in their
bodies.
What changes would you like to
see occur within the Natural Health
and Wellness sector?
Simpler dietary panels on
products.
