One of the most momentous days of my life was the day that
my boss, Stefanie Kronemeyer Prentiss, founder and CEO of
Posh Voyage, told me she was sending my on my first solo assignment…to Bali. Posh Voyage is a luxury travel concierge that
creates bespoke itineraries for globetrotters interested in traveling stress-free, with a particular efficiency in planning romantic
honeymoons. We travel 6 months out of the year to visit the top
luxury hotels around the world, so we thought it was about time
we visited one of the most popular honeymoon destinations for
our clients. I am no stranger to travel, I’ve been traveling around
the world since I was six weeks old, but this would be my first
solo journey and I knew I was in for the ride of my life. Five
months and 293 emails later, my bags were packed and I was
heading to the airport for the first leg of my 28-hour journey to
Bali. I had heard that Bali was the Mecca of surf, sand, and sun,
but soon I learned that it was much, much more.
