Love Hultén designs handcrafted and limited edition electronic devices from his
studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. But his designs are out of the ordinary, as they
are inspired by retro designs and made from materials such as walnut, brass,
steel and leather. This results in products that are both functional and vintageinspired. A standout piece is the Pixelkabinett 42, which is a fully-functional
two-player arcade cabinet with a flip-up screen. Constructed of premium walnut, the product features customizable innards with a JAMMA board computer
and joysticks, buttons and old-school knobs. However, don’t plan on seeing any
of his creations in stores, as he works alone and only makes to order.
