There were a few elements that were essential for me to celebrate the pending arrival of my daughter: the event had to be stylish, chic and feel like a lovely afternoon brunch as opposed to a cliché shower experience (i.e. no games). We avoided the use of typical “baby girl” pink and opted for a palette of soft pastel peach, mint green and gold making the overall design more premium and sophisticated. Luscious blooms of white dahlia’s were accented by blush mini protea, apricot coloured roses, mini spray roses, white and blush astilbe, white and pink sweet peas and the soft grey leaves of dusty miller. The flowers done by Jackie O were artfully arranged in gold, green and blush vases grouped together down the centre of the tables, creating a delicate and beautiful table scape. The table was further enhanced with large spherical white balloons to fill the soaring ceilings of the venue in addition to accenting the sweet and gift table.
