CHIONE MAGAZINE Special Edition Issue 'Prosperity' | Page 19

If I could describe the relationship between RoyalTee and I, it would be complicated but committed. As I grow so does my company. Entrepreneurship is not only a brand but a lifestyle. It’s trial and error, late nights and early mornings, high hopes and

disappointments, huge successes and major embarrassments.

My biggest obstacle has been faith and being my best motivator. The motto for RoyalTee is “This is What RoyalTee Looks Like” and “What Makes A Royal Woman.” Some days are easier than others to live these mottos, but looking forward towards the bigger picture always keeps me grounded. With RoyalTee, I’ve learned self- worth and value, two things that are richer than prosperity. I’ve learned courage and stepping out of my comfort zone (which is a big deal for a cancer), to not give up, even when there are times where I feel like I’m failing and trust God, because I see Him slowly but surely revealing His purpose in me.

All of these qualities have allowed me to achieve some major RECENT accomplishments, such as hosting my first teen empowerment workshop, A Day of

RoyalTee, participating as media press for the 2018 BET Experience and Awards Show and publishing the first quarterly digital edition! Again my road to prosperity is still being paved. It’s a bit bumpy and has a few potholes and detours but I would not trade it for another route. And I encourage anyone who is traveling their road to stay the course, because the road to richness is just around the corner!
