For CHIONE magazine's fifth issue cover, we are taking you to the Dani tribe in the highlands of Papua, Indonesia. This photo was taken and is owned by insightful photographer Marc Weiglein; while he was attending a gathering in the Baliem Valley. The crown on Julie's head is made of feathers from the chendrawsi bird of paradise. The lively colorful feathers are of very high value. Children and teenagers normally do not wear the crown, however an adult placed the crown on Julie's head. While the the children were playing Marc had an opportunity to capture this exquisite shot!
