My name is Bethanee Epifani and I am a Motivational Speaker, Author, and Workshop facilitator

in Los Angeles. I am passionate about inspiring today’s young people to grow in self-awareness,

discover their gifts, and live their best lives. I share vital life principles of self-love, self-

determination, and self-actualization. My book, My Quarter-of-a-Century Life Lesssons, is a tool

I use to help spread motivational messages to young people, and the workshops I have created

focus on things like cultivating leadership skills, healthy dating, and healthy body image.

My desire to share and uplift comes from my own past emotional and mental struggles. Now,

having overcome those obstacles, I am focused on sharing what I have learned with others in an

effort to empower and equip them to overcome and/or completely by-pass potential stumbling

blocks.

I discovered my love and gift for speaking while performing a middle school play. At first, I

thought I would become an actress, but I discovered that my real passion came from speaking

my truth and my experiences to an audience.

When it came to writing, it wasn’t until I had lived through some rough moments that I wanted

to share with others, that my love for writing really blossomed. Now, in addition to having a

book, I also have a blog ( bepifani.com ). I can’t seem to stop writing now; I’ve always got

something to say these days.

One of the things I love about what I do is that I provide representation for other young, black

women who are interested in doing what I do. The second thing I love about what I do is the

connection I make with those I speak to. The best feeling is when someone comes up to me after

one of my presentations and thanks me, or they say that they really enjoyed what I conveyed and

that I inspired them. What I love most about my job is that it’s not one sided. I pour positivity

into others and they pour it back into me.
