Colorado State University and High School Affiliated with Southwest University signed the cooperation agreement on October 31. Students recommended by Principal Zhang will be evaluated by his/her comprehensive performance and grade at high school without taking SAT test. The comprehensive competence includes leadership, communication, organization skills and etc. Students can get 1/3 of out-state-tuition scholarship every year. ($8,336 in 2016-2017). To prove English proficiency, students can take TOEFL/IELTS or use Chinese College Entrance Examination grade with an interview.
西大附中与科罗拉多州立大学于10月31日签署合作协议，正式成为美国科罗拉多州立大学校长直通车项目的合作伙伴学校。凭借张校长的推荐，无需参考SAT分数，只看在附中的学习成绩和表现；不一定要求你名列前茅，你的领导能力、组织能力等综合素质同样能为你的入学加分；只要是我校录取的附中学子，每年都可以享受到相当于三分之一学费的奖学金（以今年为例，奖学金额度为8336美元）；对于英语水平的要求，可以是托福或雅思成绩，特殊情况下也可以参考高考英语成绩加上我校招生官的面试成绩以决定是否录取。
