Notes on Children: When it comes to babies, toddler, and children it is best to throw out any preconceived notion of having a predictable photoshoot. Children are naturally energetic, silly, and curious. My sessions are relaxed, and I encourage play and exploration. These unforced, unstructured moments usually result in the photographs people like best. There is no need to try and get your child to smile or call their name, that is what I am here for. Some of the best photographs are when a child is just interacting with their surroundings. Not every photo needs a smile. Grumpy faces, confused faces, and silly faces typically end up being family favorites! My goal is to capture genuine smiles, real connections, and unpredictable moments. So just stand back, relax, read the paper, and leave it all in my capable hands.
