and angle of view are probably two very im-
portant factors. But the connection between
the photographer and the model, as well as
their great human attitudes, sense of humor,
feelings, reactions, motivation and facial ex-
pressions are definitively a complex, but in-
dispensable recipe to enjoy the experience
and end up with lovely images. In my very
personal opinion and long experience, I
would say that a successful portrait shooting
session will mostly depend on how good the
human connection between two individuals
can be. A great source of inspiration is also
the perpetual first contact with strangers and
the very short lapse of time you have to con-
nect as well as possible with the person who
is going to stand in front of your camera. At
the end of shooting, you’ll have to show that
person the best images you’ll have created
together.
bits of everything he has seen, touched, or
experienced during his life. Even if it is not
always obvious at first sight, I’m sure the
most loved photographs I’ve created have
bits of things I’ve seen and appreciated in the
work of other artists, celebs, or not.
How should new clients reach you?
The easiest way should be using the contact
form on my website, but I’m also very well
active on social networks like Facebook or
Instagram. Depending on my work schedule
of course, it should never take more than 8
hours before being able to get back in touch
with anyone--unless of course I’m some-
where lost in the Highlands doing a photo-
shoot.

Whose work has influenced you most?
No one specific, and everyone! As a photog-
rapher, I’ve learned to see things in a very
different way than most people do. I do
not give negative critique on art, as this is
not logical at all. Art is a very personal way
of recreating what an artist sees or feels at
a specific moment of his life. Who am I to
judge someone elses feelings or expressions?
So, when I see something, I like it for what it
is, or I’m not interested (or don’t understand
the meaning). That’s all!
Following this logic, I would say that what-
ever an artist (Photographer, Painter, Sculp-
tor…) is creating, it is of course directly in-
spired by his own creative mind, but with
