Dinner is running late!!
Sometimes shoots and casting calls can run long into the night. Packing
snacks that can withstand the day are an important part of maintaining your
sanity during the ride home. Parents can avoid their children having wild
emotions due to low blood sugar if they pack a few different yummy snacks
that are easy to eat in the car, such as trail mix and mini bags of baby carrots.
This will hold them over until you can serve them a full dinner.

Rest up.
On average, young children need about 10-12 hours of sleep per night. Get
them bathed, fed, and to bed at a reasonable time so they can put a long day
behind them and be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed the next day. A healthy
sleep pattern promotes better eating habits for kids and for parents.
Healthy parents make healthy babies!
Finally, parents need to set an example for their children. If you promote
healthy eating and sleeping habits, your kids will learn to follow suit. Make
an effort to have your children try new and healthy foods as they watch you
set the standard.
