I believe there are some parents who do not know how to discipline their children, and they probably find spanking to be a good way to do so. It may be, but up to a certain point, a legal point.
By all means, parents should discipline their children because sometimes they tend to get out of hand. Yes, I am talking to you children, you can sometimes be a little hard on parents as well, but that does not mean they can spank you to the point of brusing or making one bleed. Parents should keep in mind that these types of discipline can have some negative outcomes, therefore it is better to disciplilne children in a non physical way that may get the parent in trouble. Since my parents never laid a hand on me or my siblings, I believe that when we have children of our own, we will not lay a hand on them as well. There are many different methods that one can use to discipline their child that does not involve spanking or hitting. Let's try to use those instead, and children, be respectful to your parents. They love you so much and they most likely do not wish to punish you.
