Fun Facts Freshmen weigh in on some issues that don’t really matter By Sam Luttmann and D Shaffer Chieftain Staff In a regular Chieftain seg- ment, our fearless reporters catch up with students outside of the classroom to get their innermost thoughts about deep topics. In our fi rst episode, we tracked down some Freshmen. Do you have a girlfriend? Luke Dudley: Uh … no. But I wish I did. Alec Hamady: L. Dudley No, no I do not. Nicholas D’Angelo: No. Ashtyn Loussia: Yes, I do. Her name is Grace. A. Loussia Comment: Basing it off the fi rst three, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the fourth one is a lie. I do see a lot of prom- ise in these guys, though. J. Hakkany Who is your favorite teacher? Jayden Hakkany: So far, it would have to be Mr. Ciaravino. Peter Burg: Mr. P. Burg Shaffer. Comment: Good selections here all around. I can’t argue with any of them. What are you most excited about this year? Charlie Simpson: I’m most excited for the baseball and basket- ball seasons this year. C. Simpson Comment: I can defi nitely relate to this one. Ring-chasing is a cer- tainty this year. What is your favorite school lunch? Tommy LaMarche: Gotta be a burger with a Coke. Ryan Mardero- sian: Pasta with marinara sauce. Comment: The fi rst one was almost a refl ex. I’m borderline T.
