With Andy Skynner laid up with the winter lurgy , Nick Colbourne reports on another productive Wednesday for our Saga louts !
Our band included :
► Tony Purser on broom & sea water dealing with the failure of the Rock Pythons to deter our feathered friends .
► Chris Dalby on paint brush and stain finishing off all the storage boxes and very smart they look too !
► Roger Clare and Ron Green on electric screwdriver replacing some of the more flexible pontoon boards .
► Mark Green fiddling with timber and screws fitting central spines and end board reinforcements
► Before all these solos , we loaded the short decking sections , the first to the right at the base of the bridge with over 400kg of very live weight placed at mid span !
► All survived although they did have to be revived with coffee and chocolate muffins !
I hope we can meet again next time for more exciting instalments in the pontoon saga of sailing folk ! Preferably with our leader restored to full health .
