Club General Manager Manu Jenkin
I have enjoyed watching or reading about
each section getting back into their favourite
activity be it cruising or racing. The wind
wasn’t always present, but the sun shone for
a lot of it and after a full day on the water, I
can’t think of many places more inviting than
our waterside gardens and Clubhouse.
One comment received
recently was the lack of light
meal options on Sunday
lunchtime, in particular for
dinghy members.
Sundays are hugely busy at
the Club and our chefs do a
fine balancing act to offer
such a vast menu while
minimising waste and
therefore some lighter
snacks are not available.
However, from the first
Sunday in June, we will trial
the sale of sandwiches from
the bar at lunchtime and see
how this goes. Do let us
know.
From the kitchen, to the bar and
the office, we all aim constantly to
improve your experience at the
Club. Currently, to beat the
queues at the hatch, we are
working on a remote ordering
system from the bar and will start
trialling it soon. More information
will be given in our On-Board
E-newsletter.
Your feedback is really important
to us so please do use the
suggestion box if you want to
make any comments or email us.
We will always try to incorporate
your ideas if at all feasible.
