Members’ Functions and Events
By Tara Kendall-Sykes
The Christmas carols in December were very well attended and all our members enjoyed a fabulous singalong with the
Birdham Choir. Santa also made a special appearance. I was really pleased to see over 20 children attend too.
The final quiz of 2019 was an excellent evening again, so thank you to all who regularly attend. The cash pot for the end
of the season is growing bigger each month!
New Year’s Eve, as ever, was a brilliant night with just about everyone up on the dance floor at some point in time
during the evening. Well done to all the staff and chefs who worked up to and including the night. It was hard work but
worth it.
Coming up in January we are looking forward to Movie Night, the Past Commodores’ Dinner, Quiz Night and Burns
Night.
Bookings are still being taken for Burns Night on 25 th January.
