Reporting Pot Buoys - by David Burall Kerenza picked up a pot buoy at around 09.45 on Monday 18 September 2017 at position 50.21,13N / 001.50,99W on passage from Studland Bay towards Alderney. The offending pot buoy Having successfully cut and secured the line, the engine would not engage forward. We informed the coastguard, and turned back for the 25nm to the Solent. There was some banging on hull... and subsequently found a line jammed in the rudder with a pot buoy attached. This was removed when we arrived at Lymington. Kerenza suffered damage and delamination to rudder as a result. Please join me in signing the petition at: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/193254 Delamination Kerenza’s rudder 15
