Q: What do you love most about teaching?
A: I mean, you're working hard, you're tired, you're slipping in sweat, but you have a smile on your face. What more could you want? I'm improving people's lives by helping them to become better movers as I become a better mover myself.
Q: What inspired you to start teaching?
A: I was training with Wen, one of the personal trainers at CHHRC and one day she said handed me a pamphlet and said, "You're going to do this fitness certification training because you'd be good at it. You don't have a choice." So, I said, "Yes, Wen" and have been teaching ever since.
Q: What class formats do you teach?
A: Group Fight, Group Power, Group Core and Hurricane.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Spare time? What spare time?! I'm a full time 8th grade teacher, I'm currently taking a college class, working part time at Devils' Creek Brewery and teaching group ex classes three nights a week! But on my down time, I do enjoy chilling and watching Netflix. I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, Westworld and Survivor. I also love the beach, getting outside to hike, going for a bike ride, or sitting at an outdoor beer garden with fire pits. I also love to travel and am always saving up for my next adventure. (I will do just about anything once).
