CHEST Foundation Donor Spotlight Spring 2015 | Page 7
Curtis N. Sessler, MD, FCCP; Barbara A. Phillips, MD,
MSPH, FCCP; Gerard A. Silvestri, MD, MS, FCCP and Mark
J. Rosen, MD, Master FCCP have more in common than
being CHEST leaders. The current President, President-Elect,
President-Designate, and a Past-President and current
CHEST Medical Director have all made the significant
commitment to be Life Members of the CHEST Foundation.
They ushered in a wave of new ideas and innovation. Their
support does not begin or end with a gift to the foundation
but with their tireless effort to support their colleagues,
friends, and “work families.” They chose to give because
they love what they do and to strive for the success of the
profession. They are a true inspiration to others who want
to further the mission of CHEST and the CHEST Foundation.
They have led and will always lead by example, and their
passion is best exemplified in their own words:
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
