CHEST FOUNDATION AT THE DAYTONA 500
The CHEST Foundation actively fulfills our pillar of public-focused
patient education by delivering physician-approved materials in a
variety of venues. In February, we partnered with a public relations
firm to create a lung cancer public service announcement (PSA). This
PSA was featured at the Daytona 500 and was seen over 1.2 million
times over 3 days informing 600,000 attendees about lung cancer.

WHAT IS IT?
In April, the CHEST Foundation teamed up with the Foundation
for Sarcoidosis Research to launch Sarcoidosis: Seek Answers.
Inspire Results. The campaign exploded on social media and
within the first 2 weeks, content was shared 3,500 times on
Facebook and was seen by more than 2,300 people on Twitter.
It was released to a potential audience of over 20,000,000 via
print, radio, and broadcast outlets and included a 12-interview
radio media tour and audio news release to 485 radio stations.
Special thanks to all of our members and supporters for their
hard work and dedication in making this project a huge success.
