On behalf of the entire Board of Trustees and staff at the CHEST
Foundation, I wanted to extend our well wishes for a Happy
New Year and successful 2019! This year within the work of the
CHEST Foundation, we want to stay committed to our mission of
Championing Lung Health. You may ask “what does that mean”
and “what are we doing to champion lung health?” During this first
quarter of 2019, we are diligently working on patient education
programs, research grants, and community service outreach that
will impact not only our donors, members, and young physicians
but also elevate the awareness of lung health to communities across
the United States. We are also holding several fundraising events
to expand the awareness of the CHEST Foundation into our local

n Interacting with local communities to plan 2019’s Lung Health
